Wow has it been a week already. Time is flying, and lately I can't seem to keep up. I took a quick break from my CK Convention preparations to do a home workshop for a customer. I don't do a lot outside of my home anymore, so it took a little extra prep time- since I haven't updated my customer folders (in over a year) and things like that. Anyway, we had a great time and I enjoyed getting out of the house. Here are the three projects we did. I keep things simple for workshops due to the variance of skill and experience levels I encounter. All the ladies seemed to enjoy the projects.
This first project was done with my favorite Crazy for Cupcakes set and Sweet Always Designer paper. This set is on sale this month, so it was the perfect excuse to pull it out. The cupcakes are colored and the tops are glittered. The ribbon is the Pink Taffeta tied in a knot and layered over a piece of Regal Rose cardstock that has been scalloped with the scallop edge punch.
This next card is a simple embossing card using Snow Swirled. I demoed how to emboss, but had the embossing already done for them, so all they had to do was punch. It was a great way to show how you can stamp and emboss a whole sheet of cardstock to save time. Saving time is a big factor for me when I am making large quantities of cards for things like Christmas. The only tough part of this card is tying those tiny bow with the silver cording.
The final project we did is these Sour Cream Containers. This pattern has been around forever, however it has been years since I have done. them. They each got a piece of Holiday Treasures Designer paper and adhere and crimped the end. We put Kisses inside, then finished the other side. The tag was super simple. We inked up the image and used a marker to change the color of the sentiment in the middle. Then we simply punched out our tag with the matching Curly Label punch from the set/punch bundle. We finished them off with the Alpine ribbon from the Holiday Mini Catalog.

All of your projects look great. I love the ornament card. I hope you did well at the show. Your pages looked wonderful.
What wonderful projects! I love that ornament card! Way cute!
All three projects are just beautiful! Sour cream containers are so easy to make but people just love them! It's a WOW project for sure. Great job!
Very cute projects! Love the ornament card and looks very easy ... just my type of card!
great projects! I love the ornament card I am sure everyone had a great time!
Let me tell you I about silver cording bows. UGH! I love the look, but it is so slinky and stretchy. I thought of making 10 of a similar card but with Scandinavian season. I did one and that was it.
Very cute workshop projects.
Cute projects. Really love the Christmas balls card. It came out great. So how long did it take you to get those things tied?
These are all great projects! I especially like how you made the ornament card! TFS!
Excuse me while I go right to my room and case your Crazy for Cupcakes card...
And I've been looking for a nice 'ornament' to use on a card, and now I see that I've had it all along. Thanks so much for sharing!
These projects are all so GREAT! I bet your workshop guests were thrilled!!! I would've been!
Cute, cute, and cute! Love how that striped DSP looks like a cake shop awning.
