Wow, I was all set to post these a few days ago and then I remembered I need the photos to have copyright info. That was quite a process. I am sure I will find a more efficient way of doing that soon. In the meantime, here are the samples from my Dec 1st Stamp Camp. Better late than never. **I used SCS and other Blogs as inspiration. Some are direct copies, some are altered/combined and others are original. Thank you to all in the world that inspire me. Sorry, I haven't kept track of exactly who I got what from. Feel free to contact me with questions or to order any of the products used to make these projects.
Here is a card we made using the Photo Corner Punch to create the tree. A super easy quick card. I don't think you can tell from the picture, but there is glitter on the circles and stars. The background is just torn Shimmery white cardstock and Soft Sky Prints paper- LOVE THIS PAPER!!!
To the right is a cute mini basket made with Cold Play- Soon Retiring. The basket contains mini peppermint patties that are sandwiched with two scallops The top one decorated the same as the basket and a blank one on the bottom. I am using these as party favors.
The Reindeer (from Festive Favorites)are stamped using Basic Brown ink then colored using the stamp pads & Aquapainter. The diamond pattern is done with the Print Pattern stamp, then highlighted with the white gel pen. This is from the Festive Favorites stamp set.
The tree card to the right is also done using Festive Favorites. The trees are colored using Pastels. The greeting is embossed with Always Artichoke and Clear EP. I am going to miss the Wintergreen paper shown here. It's retiring as well. The corners were done with the ticket corner punch and embellished with brads.
A very simple floating card using Overhead Projector (remember those) transparencies. We stamped using White Stazon to get the snowflake on the transparency. The snowflake is Rose Red highlighted with a little Dazzling Diamonds and embellished with a Rhinestone Brad. The ribbon is Wild Wasabi Double Stitched Ribbon.
The Happy Holidays card is done with Big on Christmas. I am so happy that this set is staying around. I have been using it a lot. The tree is part of the Happy Holidays stamp. It is stamped a second time, colored and cut out. I wrapped cording around the the tree and then secured it with dimentionals over the original tree. The tree also has glitter on it. LOVE the Dashing paper, I am VERY sad it is retiring. Good things I stocked up in November.
I like the elements of this snowflake card, but the jury is still out on the card itself. It's done with the textured cardstock. The snowflake is embossed with a mixture of gold EP and Dazzling Diamonds Glitter. The center brad is from the new Build-a-Brad embellishment. The small snowflakes are all from the Snow Flurries set. Snow Flurries is one of my favorites.
Here is a Gift Card Tin done using all items currently on Special with SU. The tins come in a pack of 3 and are available for a limited time. The gorgeous satin ribbon is buy 1 get 1 FREE. The picture on the right is the inside of the tins we did. Enclosed are the Gift Card Holders that are on special. You get 6 cards in a pack 2 of each- red, blue & green. I plan to make some of these and sell them next fall at a craft show or two. We'll see how motivated I get.
This little mint package was done with a pattern created from the Print Pattern stamp image. It is tiny and holds a couple tic tacs. I plan to make some of these to have on my holiday dinner plates this year. I think they are adorable. The pattern is a little intimidating, but it's actually quite easy.
I love this card. It is definitely one I copied, but I don't care I love it. If I actually make Christmas cards this year, I am sure this will be it. This uses the Peaceful Wishes Stamp set, Old Olive Prints paper, Purely Pomegranate satin ribbon & cardstock, Soft Sky, Whisper White & Chocolate Chip Cardstocks. You can't see it, but the berries also have glitter on them. The inks are Chocolate Chip & Old Olive Classic inks.
This photo hanger is made with round coasters. I cover with Dashing paper and embellished with the images from the Big on Christmas set. The ribbon is red 1/4" grosgrain, 5/8" Olive grosgrain and River Rock Double Stitched Ribbon. The pieces holding the three together are punch outs from the tab punch layed flat. I used my Cricut to cut out the circles. When adhering paper to the chipboard coasters use glue stick- it is the best. When applying the ribbons I used Crystal Effects. The CE is much stronger that most glues. The hanger at the top is simply two brads hold the ribbon.
This ornament could also be used as an embellishment as well. These are super simple once you have the pattern in front of you. I created the pattern to the right to assist in putting the together. To create the pieces punch out the small tag punch. Then use the large tag punch over the first punch, to give you a tag frame. Repeat this 8 times for each layer. This ornament uses two layers attached together with a rhinestone brad. One you have the pieces punched out. Attach them to your background paper (here we used mulberry) paper as shown in the pattern. When all pieces are attached cut the points out- as shown on the right. Cut along the red line.
