Here are this month's stamp club projects. We worked with the Big Shot and Holiday Mini items.
This first card is done with Ski Slope Designer Paper & Little Felt Flurries. We dabbed 2-Way Glue onto the snowflakes and dipped them into Dazzling Diamonds Glitter. We used a large Clear Rhinestone Brad from the Pretties Kit to attach the snowflakes. Around the edge of Textured Old Olive Cardstock and Baja Breeze Ski Slope pieces we added Faux Stitching. This next card is one that I copied from a recent demonstrator meeting I attended. I changed the paper and colors. This sample uses the new Christmas Cardinal stamp set, Ski Slope Designer Papers, Top Notch Die with the Big Shot, and the Alpine Ribbon Originals. The cardinal is stamped on the front of the 1/2 Top Notch Cardstock Vellum piece and colored on the backside. The Chocolate Chip background was stamped using the Versamark Pad.We made these really quick mint holders using the Baskets & Blooms Bigz XL die with the Big Shot. These went together really quickly. I have also included a photo here of a Gift Card Holder. Both are flat, except the month holder done with the Autumn Vine Designer Paper used Dimensionals to close the bottom. The mint holder is embellished with a neutral button and the gift card holder is embellished with a Fire Rhinestone Brad and Filigree Brad. I thought the mint holders would be cute at the Thanksgiving Day table. This last project was also done with the Ski Slope Designer Paper. We altered these tins I got from clearance bin and the local craft store. We wrapped a piece of designer paper around and then applied the metal label holder from the Vanilla Hodgepodge Hardware set that is now available. The top of the tins are done with a scallop chipboard frame, designer paper, Tombow Multi, and sanding block. The snowman is from the Merry and Bright set. Lastly we added a small Felt Flurry snowflake. Everyone was given a choice of adding a Rhinestone Brad or Half Pearl to put in the center of the snowflakes. If the snowflakes didn't have a hole in the middle we punched one with the Crop-A-Dile. This helped keep the embellishement from sticking up.Now that club is over, I will be working on putting together the different kits from the mini catalog to display at my CK Convention Booth next month. I will post those as soon as I can. Have a great weekend.
