It's been awhile. I have been super busy prepping for stamp camp. My stamp camps are all day events where the guests make 12 projects. It's quite a full and fun day. Here are the first few projects we made this month.
This is a card that I cased off of SCS by DJLuvs2stamp. I loved the colors. Artfully Asian is one of my favorite stamp sets and I am sad it is retiring.
Another set that is retiring is Eat Cake. I think this is a great birthday set. I will miss it as well. This card is very simple. It is 4"x4". When opened this card "sings" the Happy Birthday song. I found the musical greeting card devices online. Here is a photo of the inside of the card with the device exposed. The full card is actually a trifold so that the device is covered up.
This is the cutest little pattern I have seen in awhile. I found it on several blogs I peruse, so I don't know who the original creator is, but whoever did it was very creative. The cellophane is actually a clear envelope folded in half. I used the Coluzzle to cut both the ovals, layered them together and folded in half. I punched holes in the top and tied knots in the ribbon to create the purse handle. I created a faux latch with the photo holder from the retiring Hodgepodge Hardware, it's pictured sideways, but actually hangs down. Here is a super simple project using the Scallop Notes that SU sells. The come in a pack of 30, with 10 of each Very Vanilla, Soft Sky & Kraft. Each guest made 4 gift cards, and envelopes and placed them in the wheeled bag that is tied shut with Celery Ribbon. Just Like You is the set used in this project. For every one of these sets sold, SU donates $2 to the Ronald McDonald house. It's limited edition and therefore retiring this month. It's a cute set and very easy to use.
Check back tomorrow for more samples.
